When Did You Stop Trusting Yourself?
Here's your gentle way back to your own knowing
Somewhere within, you already know. You just haven’t learned to trust it yet.
Let’s find your way back to that place.
You don’t even notice you’re doing it. You ask everyone else first. Gather one more opinion, research online, pull one more card, scroll social media and turn the decision over and over until the turning itself becomes the problem. Fear and overwhelm take over, and you stay exactly where you are.
Or you keep moving at a fast pace. Holding everything together, and somewhere in the holding you lose track of yourself. If someone stopped you and asked how you are, really, truly how you are, the honest answer might be the one you’ve been avoiding.
The knowing is quiet. Your inner wisdom. It speaks in a brief yes, and then the mind floods in with reasons and dangers and every step from here to the end, until the noise drowns it out.
The tender work is learning to listen to yourself, with compassion.
Learning to hear that quiet yes is what led me to release a whole era of my own, more than once. In December, I wrote to you about endings, about outgrowing the way I had been working and trusting that something new was ready to take root.
I am excited about what is taking shape, and this free reflection I’ve created is the first of it I want to share with you.
Ten reflective questions, to show you where you are standing right now and what this part of your path is asking for. All it asks of you is your presence and your truth. A few quiet minutes that belong to you.
Wherever you land, tender one, it is enough to simply know where your feet are. That is where your next step begins.
I made this for you, in the hope it brings a little clarity, and helps you listen to your wise guide inside.
